We're looking for a Payroll Specialist works in a team environment working closely with the Payroll Manager. Successful candidates enjoy collaboration, demonstrate high attention to detail and aspire to excellence. Prior Payroll experience, working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is highly requested but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly payroll processing and reporting.
  • Handle new hire processes, including importing and manual Entry (Input W-4, Direct Deposit Information)
  • Manage time and attendance system, ensuring proper coding of timecards and timely submission for weekly payroll (Follow up with leaders as needed.)
  • Timecard Importing/Manual Entry/Payroll Adjustments
  • Maintain effective communication, promptly responding to employee, management, and branch leader inquiries on payroll related matters.
  • Assist with troubleshooting payroll issues, such as missing payments, retro pay, pay rate changes, etc.
  • Process and input reimbursement-related payments for expense reports, mileage, etc.
  • Run and conduct weekly audit reports to ensure the highest level of data integrity.
  • Support onboarding & offboarding processes to contribute to the full employee life cycle.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in HR, or Business-related field preferred but not required)
  • Minimum two (2) years of payroll processing experience.
  • Garnishment Processing Experience
  • Possess a passion for data integrity, accuracy, and STRONG attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail driven thinker that takes ownership in end-to-end process.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in Home Health Payroll a plus.
